Snow ice cider - apple alcohol from Quebec

It is an alcoholic drink obtained by the fermentation of apples, and whose action is concentrated by the cold. The Canadian climate is particularly suited to its production. It was founded by François Pouliot and based in Hemmingford in Montérégie. The history of the brand is that of the encounter between fruit and cold. In fact, Neige ice cider was the first bottle to be marketed under this name in 1999. To benefit from it today, the production conditions are governed by a provincial regulation. Ice cider has even benefited from a Protected Geographical Indication since 2014.
