Macle Ice Cider - Apple Alcohol from Quebec

The apple juice used to make Macle Ice Cider is obtained by pressing naturally frozen apples from the tree. For the best tasting conditions, we think of serving it very chilled (5°C) it is perfect as an aperitif, with oven-baked foie gras or even at dessert time or at the same time as a cheese platter with a strong character. It will bring a lot of sweetness when tasting these. It can also serve as a beautiful conclusion to a memorable meal, which will end wonderfully well.

Today one of the largest beekeeping operations in Quebec, it was founded in 1976 by the Macles, a couple from Picardy. It is made up of a honey farm, a maple grove and an orchard of several hundred apple trees. Its honey house is equipped with a mead house and a distillery. It is ideally located in Mirabel, on the side of Mont Saint-Benoit, which provides it with excellent conditions for the production of quality ice cider. It is a family business. Moreover, the operation was taken over by their daughter Eléanore and her husband Cyril in 2006.
