History
In Canada, we love cheese and associate it with many dishes. Its history dates back to 1635 when French colonists made it. Immigrants come from Europe and arrive in Canada and also in the Middle East. They bring their favorite recipes to India. They focus on the refinement and diversity of cheeses. Canadian cheeses were made on farms or large factories until the 1990s. Large blocks of cheddar were produced there. Canadian artisan cheesemakers used sheep's milk, goat's milk or even cow's milk. Today, there are up to 200 cheese producers in the country. We use this ingredient in many recipes including this delicious gratin.
Ingredients
- Two goat droppings
- 300 g fresh spinach
- 20g butter
- 10 cl of crème fraîche
- 02 eggs
- Pepper and salt
Preparation
You can now wash your spinach leaves to dry them. Pour the butter into the frying pan and brown your spinach. Cook everything over medium heat and mix frequently. Stop cooking as soon as the spinach releases water and the pan no longer contains liquid. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
Place your spinach in a gratin mold. Cut the droppings into three lengthwise and form 6 small slices of cheese which you will place on the spinach. Beat the crème fraîche and eggs. Season with pepper and pour over the spinach and cheese. Bake for 25 minutes until the top is golden brown and serve hot.
