Ingredients
For the dough, you will need:
- 170g flour
- 85 sugar
- 85 g cold semi-salted butter
- 1 teaspoon of white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cold milk
For your filling, you will need:
- ½ kg fresh or frozen saskatoon berries
- 25g of sugar
- 25g almond powder
- 60 ml fresh cream
- 1 egg
Preparation
- Before starting the preparation, preheat your oven to 180°C. Start by preheating your oven to 180°C.
- Grease a mold with a removable bottom with a diameter of 28 cm.
- Prepare the dough by mixing the 85 g of sugar with the butter. Blend until you get a frothy mixture. Add the flour and mix again to obtain a consistency of breadcrumbs. Then add the milk and vinegar. Give some impulses. The dough remains in crumbs, but will nevertheless have no trouble clumping together. Otherwise, you can always add a small amount of milk.
- Then pour your mixture into the mold and make sure to distribute it evenly. Bake your pie dough for a quarter of an hour.
- Mix the berries with the ground almonds and 25 g of sugar. Pour the mixture over the pie crust. Leave a margin for the aesthetic side. . Bake again for 15 minutes.
- Beat the cream and the egg in a bowl and pour this mixture over the berries. All you have to do is bake for the last 15 minutes.
