Like over 60 % of Canada's territory is covered in forests or wetlands, there's plenty of room to ride those awesome machines that can take you to the top. Here are some other best places to snowmobile in Canada.
Elk Island National Park, Alberta
This park is widely known for its popularity among outdoor enthusiasts. In fact, it's the only place in the Stanley Parks system where aerial skiing is allowed in a national park. The best time to visit it by snowmobile is between January and April, when you can enjoy more than 300 days of sunshine a year. Fauna and flora enthusiasts will appreciate the many wild species found there, including more than 150 species of birds. Elk Island National Park also has an award-winning Visitor Center where visitors can enjoy art exhibits during their visit.
Wapusk National Park, Manitoba
This national park is the only one where polar bears reside in the 700 MW of land. It was designated a national park in 2012 to protect and conserve the animals that live within its borders. The most popular areas in Yoho National Park are Lake O'Hara, Mount Yoho, and Mount Tunnel.
