White beer from Cheval Blanc is also known as Blanche des Blanches. Its sun-coloured golden robe, slightly cloudy, is adorned with a fine foam of white bubbles. It reveals aromas of spices and citrus fruits, in particular coriander, lemon and a hint of orange. It has a slight taste of malty grain and a hint of character that can be linked to herbs, or even flowers. It is a balanced beer with a moderately dry finish and a residual taste of orange coriander.

Description

A Witbier white Belgian type beer

The main ingredients of Cheval Blanc white beer are malted barley and wheat, roasted barley and hops. It is subtly fruity and obtained thanks to a mixture of barley and wheat. This white Belgian type beer is offered in a 341 ml bottle.

Its bubbles are fine and lively, for a deliciously sparkling beer in the mouth. This mild beer will accompany your white meats, fish and seafood. You can also serve it with mushrooms, especially in pancakes. It will go very well with rather delicate food. We are thinking, for example, of cheeses or light fruit desserts. For the best tasting conditions, it is served at 4 to 6°C in a flared glass.

The Cheval Blanc brand

The family business of the same name was founded in 1924 by François Martel. It was not until 1986 that he started his brewery and became the first of the artisanal type in Canada. They serve a beer made from barley and wheat. Moreover, Cheval Blanc white beer is the very first of its kind in Canada, and it is a real source of pride for its creators.

The brand now belongs to Brasseurs RJ, following the merger of Brasserie du Cheval Blanc, Brasseurs de l'Anse and GMT microbreweries in 1998. To date, it has become one of the largest microbreweries in Quebec.
