It's the iconic brown sauce of Quebec in ready-mix form: just add water and heat for 5 minutes. The Trésors d'Érable recipe is the real homemade sauce, not industrial. Creamy, brown, slightly caramelized. Essential for a real poutine.

Super simple: pour the packet into a saucepan, add the indicated amount of cold water (about 250-500ml depending on portion), whisk to dissolve well. Bring to a boil while stirring, reduce heat and simmer 3-5 minutes. The sauce thickens, ready to pour over your fries!

One packet makes about 4 to 6 poutine servings, depending on how generous your sauce is. That's equivalent to about 500ml of prepared sauce. Perfect for a family or friends meal. The format is designed so you don't have leftovers: zero waste.

The Quebec holy trinity: homemade fries + cheese curds + brown sauce. That's it. The secret? Fresh cheese that goes "squeak squeak" in your teeth (never grated!), well-golden fries, and scalding hot sauce poured over to slightly melt the cheese. Pure magic.

The dry packet keeps for at least 1 year in your pantry, away from moisture. Once prepared, the sauce keeps for 3 days in the fridge in an airtight container. For extra indulgence, add a splash of dark beer or some veal stock during preparation.

Beyond the classic poutine (fries + cheese curds), it's great on plain homemade fries, on ground beef, or to top a Quebec shepherd's pie. Also perfect with meatballs or a beef roast. A truly versatile sauce.
