The Very Dark is harvested even later than Dark, at the absolute end of the season. Flavor is even more concentrated, robust, almost licorice-like. Nearly black color. The favorite of Canadian chefs for meats and intense desserts.
Before opening, cool and dry, lasts months. Once opened, fridge it, at least 12 months. The 1L format is perfect for heavy users: daily use, restaurants, big recipes. The pouring spout prevents drips.
