Questions and responses

Blanche de Chambly is Unibroue's first beer (1992) — an unfiltered wheat ale at 5% ABV, bottle-conditioned in the Belgian style. Pale, hazy robe, white head, notes of citrus, coriander and clove. The Quebec benchmark of wheat beers.

A Belgian Hoegaarden is softer, more orange, sweeter. A German Weißbier (Erdinger, Schneider) plays on banana and clove. Blanche de Chambly carries the Belgian spirit with Quebec freshness: drier, more lemony, distinctive bottle conditioning. Honestly, more refreshing in summer.

Store the bottle upright, away from light, ideally between 4°C and 12°C. Since it's bottle-conditioned, a sediment forms — that's normal. Serve it very chilled (4-6°C) in a tall glass. Roll the bottle before pouring to release the yeast. Drink within 2 years.

5% ABV — the aperitif and lunch beer, drink in moderation. Contains wheat and gluten — not for coeliacs. Lactose-free, GMO-free, natural ingredients (water, malt, wheat, yeast, coriander, orange peel). Avoid for pregnant women and drivers.
