The Quebec wildflower honey is a multifloral honey gathered by bees from a wide variety of wild flowers across the Quebec plains. Light amber colour, balanced, gentle, lightly floral taste, with no single dominant note. The all-purpose honey par excellence, natural and unpasteurised, in a 500g jar.
Difference with a monofloral honey (blueberry, clover): here you get a natural mix of foragings depending on the season and region. The flavour profile is less marked but highly approachable — this honey pleases everyone. Ideal for those who don't like bold tastes or want an all-purpose honey for cooking and toast.
Keep the jar dry, at room temperature — not in the fridge. If your honey crystallises, it's a sign of quality. To re-liquify: warm water bath (max 40 °C) for 5 to 10 min. Never heat aggressively. No strict use-by date: real honey keeps for years without losing quality — that's the magic of this food.
No major allergens: gluten-free, lactose-free, nut-free, egg-free. Heads up: not for children under 1 year and pollen-allergy sufferers. Health-wise, wildflower honey is rich in antioxidants, enzymes and minerals. A natural sugar that's better than refined sugar, with extra diversity thanks to the foraging mix.
Our everyday workhorse honey: it sweetens everything without dominating. Tip: a spoonful in a honey-mustard vinaigrette changes the game on a salad. Also great drizzled over blue cheese or in a hot infusion to soothe a winter sore throat. Our all-purpose honey, the one we always have in the cupboard.
Artisan harvest in Quebec, unpasteurised honey that keeps its natural enzymes, shipped from Canada by sea. A Quebec wildflower honey is rarer and more characterful than a generic European one. You're paying for a Canadian signature honey, not an anonymous blend from multiple origins (China, Argentina...).
