A brief history of the Kraft brand
Many may have already heard of the Kraft brand. But back to the history of this company.
Kraft started with the famous cheese. A cheese trade with its fellows was started by a Canadian immigrant James Kraft. They were going door to door in Chicago. Their company was incorporated in 1909. But it was from 1916 that its pasteurized processed cheese was patented. It had 31 kinds of cheese at that date.
Another company by the name of National Dairy Products Corporation had small dairy businesses in the United States and eventually got the Kraft company in 1930. Phil Morris then took over Kraft in 1988 and renamed the "Kraft Foods Inc" which is has become one of the best known brands in the world today.
In March 2015, a new company merger took place. The Kraft Company and the Heinz Company, hence the current name of Kraft Heinz. These two companies specialize in food in general.
