M21 Black Blueberry Tea (Metropolitan Tea Co.) — a premium Ceylon black tea naturally flavoured with wild blueberries, presented in a luxury cylindrical canister with pyramid teabags. The fullness of black tea + the fruity blueberry note = an aromatic, elegant cup, perfect for brunch or aperitif.

Difference with a plain black tea (Earl Grey, English Breakfast): here you get a fruity, tart note that softens the tea. Difference with a classic European fruit black tea: the wild Quebec berry brings a unique note — fresher and less sugary than European cultivated berries.

Prep: 1 pyramid bag per cup, boiling water (95-100 °C), steep 3 to 5 minutes. Any longer and it turns bitter. Store the cylindrical canister dry, away from light and odours. Once open, ideally within 6 months to enjoy the blueberry aroma at its peak. The pyramid format lets the leaves unfold properly.

No major allergens: gluten-free, lactose-free, nut-free, egg-free, vegan. Health-wise: black tea rich in antioxidants (theaflavins) and wild blueberry = anthocyanins, a double antioxidant hit. Caffeine present as in any black tea — avoid late evening. A pairing of pleasure and health perks.
