Fall and winter are approaching, and personally, I find there's nothing better than a good thermal garment to face the cold. If you're looking for a practical and comfortable garment for your outings, or simply for a relaxed look, this could be a great option.

Machine wash cold with like colors. Tumble dry low or air dry to preserve fabric quality.
This is the men's Thermal version of the buffalo-plaid classic: hooded overshirt, red-and-black plaid, with a warm inner lining (fleece/sherpa-style). Men's cut, button-front, built-in hood, chest pocket. A real shoulder-season piece that also holds up in mild winter. The Canadian lumberjack shacket — warm, sturdy, timeless.
Two things: men's cut (wider shoulders, hip length) and most importantly thermal-lined, which the classic women's version isn't. Result: noticeably warmer — you're fine at 0-5 °C with just a tee underneath. Compared to a true winter coat, it's less bulky and more stylish, great through midwinter. Below –5 °C: layer up or grab the coat.
Machine wash at 30 °C max, gentle cycle, with similar colors (red may bleed the first few washes). No bleach, and especially no tumble dryer — it would clump the thermal lining. Dry flat or on a sturdy hanger; it gets heavy when wet. Iron inside out at low heat only if needed.
Outer in sturdy flannel-style fabric, inside soft fleece/sherpa lining that's nice against the skin. Built-in hood, chest pocket, long sleeves, button-front. Classic men's cut, slightly roomy so a sweater fits underneath: stick with your usual size. Between sizes: size down for a closer fit.
The secret: it replaces a jacket in 80% of fall and mild-winter situations. Sugar shack, forest walk, coffee run, shoveling out front — it gets the job done. Pair with raw denim, boots or Doc Martens, plain or plaid tee underneath, done. Safe gift for a guy who doesn't like being told what to wear — buffalo plaid pleases everyone.
At €32.90 incl. VAT, that's a fair price for a men's thermal-lined shacket with built-in hood. You're paying for a true winter piece, not a shirt dressed as a jacket: fleece/sherpa lining, thick durable fabric, clean finishes. Compared to fashion-brand thermal shackets at €70-100, you're at half the price with no warmth trade-off. An investment that lasts several winters.
