Baked beans are a Quebec classic: white beans slowly simmered with salt pork, molasses and spices. The old-fashioned recipe respects rural tradition, passed down for generations. Comforting, rich, flavorful. The dish of sugar shacks, winter mornings, Quebec brunches.

For the Quebec breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausages and toast. Also as a main dish in the evening, with tourtière or sausages. Reheat them gently in a saucepan or microwave. Also delicious cold in a sandwich. 398ml format = 2 generous servings.

A simple traditional recipe: white beans (Navy beans), salt pork, molasses, onion, spices, salt. No artificial flavors, no added preservatives. The slow cooker does the work: 8h of slow cooking. It's this cooking that develops flavor richness and melting texture. Real, good.

The sealed can keeps for 2-3 years at room temperature. Once opened, transfer to an airtight container and keep in the fridge max 3-4 days. Never store in the open can (oxidation). Beans freeze very well: 3 months in the freezer. Practical for portion management.
